Pediatric Chiropractic

By identifying stress to the nervous system as early as the first week of life, it helps ensure a strong foundation to increase their chances to be healthy kids that will grow up to be healthy adults.

Dr. Angie is a practitioner who is helping people of all ages regain their health. She helps pregnant women, newborns, children and grown ups! A graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Recendez has completed an additional 250 hours of training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association to better serve the health needs of pregnant women, families trying to conceive and children. While in school, she served as a leader of several clubs on campus, Campus Guides and tutored for the Neuro-anatomy class focusing on the central nervous system.

Dr. Angie is Webster-Certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Webster is a specialized prenatal chiropractic technique that helps to ensure the pelvis, sacrum and surrounding ligaments are balanced to allow optimal growth and development of the baby.

Dr. Josselyn Gomez Sandoval

Dr. Josselyn earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. Before that, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at Elmhurst College (now Elmhurst University), where she was also involved in community service through the Alpha Phi Sorority.

What inspired Dr. Josselyn to become a chiropractor was her interest in the body’s natural ability to heal, especially how important the nervous system is in that process. She believes that when the spine and nervous system are working properly, the whole body functions better. That’s what chiropractic care is all about.

Dr. Josselyn is passionate about helping people feel their best through gentle, personalized care. Her goal is to support each patient’s unique health journey with a natural, hands-on approach to healing.

Ater having my first baby I thought I’d never be the same. I couldn’t sleep or sit in the same position for more than 20 minutes, and returning to working out was painful. Plus, I was told by so many older women that this was normal. It stayed even after postpartum PT. On top of my own pain, my baby had back to back ear aches for three months and would only sleep on one side. She’d scream if I put her any other way. My husband has suffered from chronic migraines since his teenage years. So, we all went in and signed up for care. Three months later and all of my pain is gone!
