Testimonials

Meredy Parker is hands down one of the best PTs out there. I am so lucky I found her while I was pregnant with my first and had her by my side during my postpartum recovery. She is SO knowledgeable about the entire body, kind, and respectful. She is invested in her patients and goes above and beyond to make sure I’m progressing in my recovery. I highly recommend starting to see her in your second or third trimester and throughout your postpartum recovery. Because of her, I felt more confident in my labor and delivery and I am so impressed by how my body has healed and started to get strong again. I also can’t believe how she helped me navigate those early postpartum emotions and health issues my daughter was experiencing. She and her team also got my husband on their schedules last minute when his back went out a few weeks before I was due and helped him walk again. Again, I can’t stress enough how much Meredy cares and makes her patients feel supported. SO glad she is part of my medical team!

– Diana B.

“I came in for physical therapy after the birth of my second child and am thankful to have found Chicago Physical Therapists through my midwife’s suggestion. I worked with Meredy and she really tuned into my body to help me rehab from pregnancy & birth. It is obvious she has been specializing in women’s health for a long time. She knows what she is doing–yet gave me individualized care, catered to my specific needs.”

—Erin D.

“I have been using Chicago Physical Therapists off and on for over 6 years. First, I saw Meredy Parker for postpartum issues after two different pregnancies – both times I was treated successfully and very pleased with the practice. Then I tore my ACL playing tennis! I saw Annika and then Kate for months of physical therapy so I could walk normally and return to my daily activities. I have returned to tennis successfully and am now training for a 5K. I wouldn’t have been able to do these things without the support and encouragement of some wonderful therapists.

It is worth noting that Chicago Physical Therapists is open to clients bringing children with them to appointments. This was one of the first things that attracted me to the practice, so I wouldn’t have to find a babysitter. My kids are able to stay with me during appointments or under the very good care of the office manager.”

Katherine, Google Review

My doula referred me to Meredy at CPT for pelvic floor therapy after birthing my 1st child. The entire experience has been too notch. Meredy is very effective, truly listens to the issues and is compassionate with the care provided. I wish I would’ve come sooner- lesson learned to book before giving birth! It’s incredible to find a care provider where they can help you with your therapy and your 5 month old can be with you.

– Devon P.

I started seeing Laura when I was pregnant with my 3rd. I had sever pelvic pain during the end of my 2nd pregnancy, so I was trying to be proactive to strengthen/stretch muscles, and hopefully avoid that discomfort this time around! I always felt amazing after our sessions, and the pain didn’t return. After baby was born, I started seeing Meredy to strengthen my pelvic floor, and always left feeling stronger and encouraged by progress. This office has the most friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff is extremely professional, kind, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend!
