Our website offers lots of information about pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders  and information about self-help strategies as well as how to know if you need professional help

All the PPD Alliance Services are free and our volunteers are moms, just like you and we are here to support you!

Email & Telephone Support

Our support volunteers are all moms who have experienced either a pregnancy or postpartum mood disorder themselves and they are here to offer you:

  • Mom-to-Mom support and encouragement, and to let you know you are not alone in feeling this way.
  • Information about the symptoms of pregnancy & postpartum mood and anxiety disorders
  • Information on what helps women to feel well again
  • Information on how to choose a healthcare provider who has experience in treating perinatal mood disorders if you need one.

Our volunteers are not able to provide medication, medical or therapy advice.

If you would like to have telephone support from one of our volunteers please call us on 847 205-4455 and leave a message. We aim to return calls within 24 hours.

If you prefer to contact us by email, please email our volunteers using this form. We aim to return emails within 24-48 hours. This is for mom-to-mom support and non-urgent issues.
