Hello!

Having been a dietitian for nearly 8 years prior to becoming pregnant, nutrition was the last thing I envisioned to cause me stress during motherhood.

By week 7, that changed quickly. Nausea and vomiting were persistent and relentless. Each week that passed was a beacon of hope that it would soon let up, but by week 20, it had become far worse and officially termed Hyperemsis Gravidarum (a severe form of nausea and vomiting). My pregnancy was full of hospital visits, IV therapy, and multiple provider visits — not to mention lots of tears, frustration, confusion… and advocating.

Then came birth. 26 hours and an unplanned c-section later, I found myself faced with a new set of unexpected challenges — navigating physical recovery, exclusively breastfeeding, and simply drinking from the firehouse of learning to become a new parent.

A few weeks postpartum, I realized I was severely under-eating for the increased demands of my body, recovering from a major abdominal surgery, producing milk around the clock, and caring for a newborn. I spent nap traps and middle of the night feeds scrolling for postpartum nutrition sources that were quick, easy to understand and importantly, credible. With tons of baby content quickly flooding my algorithm, I was shocked to find very little on postpartum nutrition. It was crickets.

This lit a spark for me, changing the direction of my career.

Today, I work exclusively with pregnant and postpartum parents, helping to reduce overwhelm and increase confidence around prenatal and postpartum nutrition. My approach is simple yet impactful. Realistic yet science-backed.

Whether you show up to a call feeding your baby or simply exhausted from the demands of new parenthood, come as you are!
