At Eastern Healing we take our role as part of your healthcare team very seriously. There is no more intimate relationship between the practitioner and the patient as when we are called upon to help with infertility questions. This is why we developed our P.A.R.E.N.T.S. Program™.
P.A.R.E.N.T.S. Program™ addresses fertility in a holistic manner, incorporating various aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in a comprehensive approach to rectify any imbalance that leads to infertility. In this effort to restore the body’s proper balance, an array of treatments may be utilized which take into account the interconnectedness of all the things that need to be aligned for conception to occur.
Once diet, stress and anxiety are removed as barriers, acupuncture can be used to stimulate the normal hormonal cycles that let fertilization occur in the normal course of events. This program is designed for couples that want to become parents. Both men and women have a complex biological role in the act of conception. Modern living can interrupt these intricate processes at any point along the way. Acupuncture and TCM intervene to facilitate the proper balance of energy and blood flow that allows these mechanisms to function properly.
At Eastern Healing, we developed the P.A.R.E.N.T.S. Program™for our practitioners to create a structure to thoroughly review a patient’s personal history and perform a complete evaluation before identifying a course of appropriate action. All of this is discussed with the couple prior to initiating the full TCM treatment. Through this integrated approach we aim to restore normal reproductive capacity.

Although most of this discussion has been aimed at the female partner, we do see times when the male suffers from low sperm count. This too can be treated with TCM methods; including acupuncture.
