“Childbirth is a unique experience for every woman, newborn and family. Even in the most ideal circumstances, there are some parts of the experience that can be controlled to a certain extent, while other factors simply cannot be predicted or controlled. And, that’s okay.”

“At the Family Birth Center, our goals are always to:

  • Help you fully understand your options, including potential alternatives;
  • Understand your medical and environmental preferences in pain management, labor support, birthing options and postpartum
    care;
  • Create a healthy and nurturing environment that best supports your customized childbirth experience.”

“Our physicians and nurses offer personalized, understanding care at each stage of pregnancy and childbirth—from your first visit through labor, delivery and your newborn’s first days. Our  anesthesiology team is available to administer pain medication as needed or requested 24 hours a day, with advanced expertise in epidural labor pain relief.”

“Once your newborn arrives, our nurses can provide lactation support to help you both get started with healthy breastfeeding practices. Our team offers the same breastfeeding guidance as that of private lactation consultants—before you leave the hospital.”
