At this point (late November 2022), virtually all Chicago-area hospitals and birth centers are allowing a laboring mother be accompanied by both her doula and her partner.
Below are the policies currently in place at all Chicago-area hospitals.

General Visiting Guidelines: Visiting hours are 8:30AM – 8PM. All hospital visitors must obtain a pass at the Information Desk in the main lobby before going to your room. We ask that:
- Visitors to adult units be 12 years of age or older. Visitors to the Family Birth Center must be 18 years of age or older.

Humboldt Park Health (HPH) believes that patient and family involvement play an important role in the healing process.
