We at Nurture specialize in preconception and fertility support whether you utilize our services as your primary therapy or in conjunction with ART (assisted reproductive technology.

Treatments are specific to your individual presentation and can help regulate your menstrual cycle, improve ovulation and egg quality, increase blood flow to the uterus, and reduce stress. Fertility acupuncture treatments can address gynecological issues such as PCOS, high FSH, and recurrent miscarriage. In addition to acupuncture, we may provide recommendations for supplements, emotional support, lifestyle modifications, and/or movement therapy.

IVF, IUI, AND OTHER ART THERAPIES

Acupuncture has proven to increase the success rate of IVF procedures from 26.1% to 42% in a study published in Fertility and Sterility Journal, April 2002. Your treatments leading up to and through your IVF or IUI protocol will support all the phases of your assisted cycle and help keep your systems balanced throughout the process to keep you connected with your intentions of conception.

ACUPUNCTURE FOR EMBRYO TRANSFER

We offer onsite acupuncture for the day of your embryo transfer during an IVF cycle, this includes both before and after embryo transfer treatments. This procedure is typically combined with in-office care, it can be provided as a stand-alone treatment.

Our fertility program is 6 weeks in length and can be used as a stand alone treatment or to prepare for a medically assisted cycle such as IUI or IVF. We highly recommend preparing your body properly prior to starting any medically assisted fertility cycle to help optimize a successful first cycle. This program can be completed in time for your stim start.

Whether you are preparing for pregnancy or experiencing fertility challenges, our holistic approach can support you in optimizing your fertility. Mercier Therapy {MT} is a safe, gentle, and external pelvic visceral manipulation technique designed to restore the health and well-being of the pelvis by addressing scar tissue, adhesions, malalignment or decreased mobility of the pelvic and reproductive structures. Mercier Therapy provides an integrative and comprehensive approach for a variety of pelvic issues for women of all ages.

The goal of Mercier Therapy is to restore mobility and proper blood flow to the pelvic organs which optimizes their function. It can be used as a stand alone therapy at any time. It may also be used as an adjunct to other assisted reproductive technology techniques (ART) such as IUI or IVF.
