WHERE SHOULD I HAVE MY BABY?

Take the “Where Should I Have My Baby?” Questionnaire to figure out which birth setting feels right to you

You’ll also be receiving BirthGuide’s signature email series, “Building Your Circle of Support in the Childbearing Year”.

BUT FIRST:  ARE YOU HIGH RISK?

If you are generally healthy, are experiencing a low-risk pregnancy and expect an uncomplicated labor and birth, having a baby at home, in a birth center or in the hospital may all be choices you want to consider.  But if you have certain risk factors, the hospital is your safest option — although you may be able to work with a hospital-based midwife. While BirthGuide can suggest birth settings that might be a good fit given what matters to you, you will need to check directly with your chosen provider to find out if your choice of setting is safe for you.
